Children’s Ballet & Modern Dance Classes ages 9 to 11

This can be a good age to start or to increase your dance training to more than once a week.

Dance students at this age and level can also sign up for strength and condition classes.

Optional examinations can be discussed and arranged where appropriate.

Syllabus Work

Students experience both Classical and Contemporary Dance Variations and are afforded opportunities to participate in events and performances throughout the year.

Grades 3 & 4 Ballet from Imperial Classical Ballet, Royal Academy of Dance Ballet and Modern Theatre Dance Syllabi are delivered to this age group.

Dance Terms

There are two terms: Term 1 September to December and Term 2 January to May.   Terms run to coincide with the school calendar year, allowing for mid- term breaks, bank holidays etc.

All classes run on a term basis and are hosted mid-week and weekends.  Numbers are limited to ensure high quality classes and adequate attention for each student.
